Bespoke™ Subwoofers Technology

All analog signal processing.

No equalization. Size Matters. To have flat frequency response in a small or sealed (unported) enclosure requires heavy EQ. If you have a 2000 watt amplifier but also need 20 dB of boost at 16 Hz for flat response it means that midband you are only using 1% (-20 dB) of your amplifier power, that is 20 watts!!! Why did you pay for 2000 watts if you mostly don’t use it? The Bespoke B2 uses no boost at all and is flat down to 16 Hz. You get what you pay for with Bespoke Subwoofers.

4th order Linkwitz-Riley lowpass filters. A 4th order L-R alignment is the optimum for the crossover with the main speakers. It gives a perfect handoff with no “bump” or “dip” in the frequency response. If you’re looking at frequency response graphs, this kind of filter is down 6 dB at the corner frequency. This is matched by the main speakers’ highpass filter resulting in overall flat response through the crossover.

A variety of filter options to customize for your listening room and reduce processing of the signal.

Asymmetrical Ports with double ended flares broaden the tuning bandwidth of the ports and reduce distortion.

Down firing. The cleanest look for your listening environment and protects the driver from pets and children.

100% Baltic Birch construction. Baltic Birch is stronger and lighter than the MDF used by other makers. It also looks very nice with clearcoat if you choose to forego the Mahogany or Maple finishes.

Class D power amplifier. This class of amplifier is now the standard for subwoofers. They are lighter, much more efficient and thus run much cooler than the traditional Class A/B amps.

Power Factor Corrected (PFC) power supply. Not only does this reduce energy use by increasing efficiency it keeps electrical noise out of the subwoofer and out of the power circuits in your house.
